Designed to celebrate skate culture, live music, street art, and local creativity, Skatefest provides a safe, inclusive space where people of all ages and abilities can enjoy, learn, and express themselves. The event is built around bringing the community together, promoting positive mental wellbeing, and making skateboarding accessible to everyone.

Skatefest also proudly supports charitable causes. The 2024 event was held in memory of Harry Taylor Robinson, raising awareness and celebrating his life. In 2026, all proceeds from the raffle and donations will be shared equally between Live Like Ralph, in memory of Ralph Roberts, and Against Breast Cancer, in memory of Victoria Smith-Collins, continuing Skatefest's commitment to giving back while making a positive impact on the local community.
